The Gulf of Mexico has been a core area for TGS for over 25 years. The Sophie's Link 3D is a new 179 OCS block project that links the Grand Isle and Ewing Bank areas (Deep Resolve 3D) to the West Delta and Mississippi Canyon areas (Mississippi Canyon 3D).

This 3D Kirchhoff pre-stack time migrated line demonstrates complex salt and deep structural imaging. The long records and offsets make this data set AVO and depth migration friendly. TGS will also have a pre-stack depth product available mid 2007 to provide for the upcoming central Gulf of Mexico lease sale.
