TGS-NOPEC's North Sea Renaissance long offset 2D program will by the end of the 2007 season have reached 85.000 km. The survey is expected to continue to grow also in the coming years to cover the entire North Sea Basin with at least a 5 x 5 km regular grid.

The NSR surveys offers clients excellent deep imaging and Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) capabilities as the entire pre and post stack volumes are loaded into one single database to be accessed with the PRIMA™ software.

The line below, crossing the Stord Basin allows interpretation for the first time to map and understand the early rift phase of the Stord Basin Deep sedimentary basins have been revealed and several plays within range have been identified.
