Makassar - CM04


TGS-NOPEC has over 26,000km of modern 2D data seismic in the Makassar Straits which borders the Mahakam Delta, one of Indonesia's most prolific hydrocarbon producing areas. The data, which extends across the Straits from Kalimantan to the West Sulawesi Fold Belt, have enabled a more coherent interpretation to be constructed, revealing a number of new exploration opportunities. The data has shown many exciting structures, often associated with amplitude anomalies. More Info

Indonesia - Makassar Straits


TGS-NOPEC has over 20,000km of modern 2D data seismic in the Makassar Straits which borders the Mahakam Delta, one of Indonesia's most prolific hydrocarbon producing areas. Indonesia - Heimdall


In June 2003, after 25 years of negotiation, Vietnam and Indonesia signed an agreement over their maritime boundary in this potentially oil-rich area of the South China Sea.  More Info

Sea of Okhotsk - Sakhalin


The offshore Sakhalin area in the Sea of Okhotsk is a world-class hydrocarbon province, with proven reserves to date in excess of 5.5 billion barrels of oil and 35 trillion cu.feet of gas. Total reserves (in place) in the area are estimated to be in excess of 90 billion barrels of oil equivalents. More Info

The Indonesian Frontier Basins Project is a comprehensive exploration program creating new data sets in previously unexplored or under-explored Indonesian basins. It is the largest non-exclusive, multi-component project ever undertaken in the world.  More Info
