Job Description:
TGS IMAGING specialises in the processing of both 2D and 3D, land and marine, seismic data for external clients as well as for its highly successful multi-client data sales team. State-of-the art Prima™ software which includes 3D wave equation shot profile FD migration, runs on a rapidly growing PC cluster hardware is available in the TGS Bedford office. TGS Imaging Bedford is expanding its business. Hence there are openings for Senior Geophysicists to work in and lead project teams.
Duties:
The Senior Geophysicist will:
- Be capable of leading a 2D/3D processing team
- Perform all aspects of processing
- Train team members
- Become a process expert in one or more Geophysical areas
- Project manage from start to finish
- Communicate with and lead meeting with clients
Requirements:
- 5+ years processing experience
- A minimum of a BSc or equivalent in Geophysics / Geology / Science subject
- Enjoys leading a small team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Training:
- Relevant training will be given as appropriate
