TGS Imaging, a division of TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company, is seeking entry or junior level Seismic Imaging Geophysicists to work on 2-D or 3-D time or depth imaging projects. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our successful team in Houston.

Job Description

Entry or junior level Seismic Imaging Geophysicists will be responsible for working on   2-D or 3-D time or depth processing projects under the guidance of a seismic imaging project leader or similar experienced personnel.  Responsibilities will be to learn the necessary skills to ultimately run all aspects of a project with minimal supervision.  

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in geophysics, geology, physics or math preferred, but will consider other degrees.
• 0 - 2 years “hands-on” experience processing 2-D or 3-D marine time or depth projects.
• Knowledge of geophysical and geological principles is a plus.

Desired Qualifications

• Enjoys working in a team environment but can work independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.  Good command of the English language is a must.
• Willingness to work on challenging projects.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office.
