Job Description:
TGS is looking for an experienced candidate to join their Africa and Middle-East team. The position involves creating new multi-client 2D, 3D land and marine seismic and aeromagnetic projects in Africa and the Middle East.
Job Requirements:
With an oil or service company background, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in exploration geoscience and\or technical sales, marketing and business development in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of West Africa and African geomarkets is advantageous (geology, functioning of Energy Ministries and NOC’s). Experience of geophysical survey design, formulating survey budgets, costing and marketing and familiar with geopolitics is beneficial. A knowledge of French is advantageous.
Location:
This position will be based in the UK or Europe with the flexibility of working from home, and will involve significant travel to Africa and / or Middle East (preferably to West Africa).
