Prep Training Assistant


SUMMARY:


TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company of Houston, Texas, an internationally recognized seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation company, has a full-time position open for a 3rd Shift Prep Training Assistant.

Location:2345 Atascocita, Humble, TX

The Prep Training Assistant will be responsible for working with Prep staff in training to ensure they are receiving the proper training and motivation. This person should be able to perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or HWL trainer; some clerical or administrative duties will be included.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working in conjunction with all HWL trainers and coordinators to ensure all priorities are met and training is completed.
  • Respond to questions from training group 
  • Give feedback to all staff in training and follow up to ensure compliance.
  • Assign training deadlines and goals to trainees.
  • Keeps statistical information on a daily basis. 
  • May work on weekends and/or various shifts per your Department Manager.  
  • Ensures strict confidentiality of client records.  
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Knowledge in Access and Excel is preferred

JOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. 
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. 
  • Word processing and/or data entry skills. 
  • Ability to verify data input and correct errors. 
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. 
  • Keep work area neat.
  • Observe scheduled work hours
  • Demonstrate punctuality
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve work processes.
