Under direct supervision, preps wells for digitizing according to correct spec, enters prep information in software programs, tracks and prioritize wells in prep and redline, provides requested updates for management. May perform miscellaneous duties as requested.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Knowledge of Onshore for curve coverage, ability to read and understand client requests.
- Manage inbound and outbound work to Houston Prep Staff.
- Focus to improve the quality of outbound work.
- Train with shops via PowerPoint or web-x sessions.
- Manipulate data through access queries to check status of work in Houston Prep.
- Ensure priorities are moving along in timely manner to overseas shops.
- Assist upon request in tracking rushes and priorities in Houston.
- Inform manager of any problems with inbound data or deadlines that will be missed.
- Troubleshooting with redo and other problem wells.
- Working knowledge of Digirule and Neuralog.
- Keep statistical information on a daily basis.
- May work on weekends and/or various shifts per your Department Manager.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of client records.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Efficient communication with all shift leads/ managers.
- Organization of overall workload within Houston Prep.
- Ensure productivity of all prep staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a high school diploma or have taken some college courses.
- Ability to motivate staff to exceed goals and objectives
- Previous supervisory/management background is a must.
- Project management skills are very desirable.
- Skill set should include Microsoft office with a good foundation in Access
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Ability to clearly understand the qc/op process and all associated software
- Excellent organizational skills
