Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager - you will, among other things, be expected to:
- Provide installation and geotechnical support through direct contact with clients
- Improve the quality and expand the scope of technical support processes and workflows.
- Track, evaluate and solve support requests.
- Conduct training for clients
- Identify client needs and promote the use of the Company’s applications
- Liaise with the application development team, making supported recommendations for improvements or new capabilities.
- Liaise with the sales team to improve and expand client base
- Assist in preparing, reviewing and writing technical documentation.
Job Preferences:
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree in Geophysics or Geology essential
- 2-5 years experience within the Oil and Gas industry essential.
- Experience providing software support or/and training, relating to G&G applications, data stores and/or system environments essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, essential.
- Self-motivated, able to act independently with minimum supervision while remaining a strong team player.
- Adaptable, enthusiastic and highly flexible.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally
- Some practical understanding of oil company G&G workflows desirable.
- G&G data loading experience highly advantageous.
