Summary:
TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company based in Houston, Texas, an internationally recognized seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation company, has a full-time position open for a Geophysical Software Engineer.
Location: 2500 Citywest Blvd., Suite 2000, Houston, TX
The primary objective for the successful candidate in this position is to maintain, support and develop production depth imaging software. In addition, the incumbent in this position will optimize depth imaging programs under different hardware and software environment.
Job Requirements:
- MS Degree or higher in Computer Science or in Geophysics preferred
- Strong background in both computer science and geophysics
- Minimum 3+ years experience of object-oriented design and programming with C, C++, Fortran, and Java
- Knowledge of multi-processor programming is a plus
- Strong understanding of programming language and application programming
- Well focused and production oriented mindset are essential
