A2D is offering a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated and creative individual for the DAS Processor, working in the DAS department, processing International data.

Job Summary:

A successful candidate will operate within a small team, who will be responsible for scanning, indexing and processing international well logs. The candidate will interpret foreign language, as it relates to well logs using various Translation software/websites.  They will assist with projects as needed in Humble and possibly offsite locations.

Responsibilities:

• Use software provided, input well/log information into A2D database.
• Assign (or verify) log image to the proper Well bore avoiding duplicates, upgrading for quality purposes if applicable. 
• Clean digital image, as required to meet acceptable standards.
• Ensure clear and concise communication between interdepartmental groups
• Follow priorities assigned to ensure that images are completely processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure the necessary information is gathered for effective and efficient completion of each and every project. 
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Knowledge of well logs
• Ability to learn a broad scope of operational functions quickly
• Must be organized with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel and Access)
• May work various shift assignments and on weekends
